I'm the 3rd owner of this QQ1 painted
beauty. While I don't have the spec sheet, I was able to track down
the original owner (god bless that man, you'll see why in a moment!)
who told me that he pulled the original motor, tranny and rear end
BEFORE racing it! (see why now?) So, only modification to the car
that I can tell is the interior was changed over to white, and the
wheels were replaced with some Crager knockoffs - painted to match
the body. I show it pretty regularly - and while it's a "10 footer"
- it still stands up and gets some good recognition. The motor is a
440, and it came factory with a 4 speed tranny. Also, it's an early
build - so the speedo reads to 150, instead of just 15. Other than a
front end rebuild, all I have to do is add gas and drive - just like
it's supposed to be.
